This Magic Moment

Hello All,
Some of the antique places i love to go to is AAA Antique Mall. They are a huge building that carry everything from rare records, vintage toys, clothing, and home decor. I try and go once and a while to see what great finds they have that week. I've had my eye on a wall jukebox you would find in a dinner. I also have found they have a great selection of vintage woman's accessories. One of my girlfriends found some old perfume bottles of Chanel, that still had perfume in it.
I really enjoy spending the day there since it's so big, it's laid out in booths that have themes. One minute your in a 1950's kitchen and the next in a antique toys both.
Once i brought my mother there she enjoyed telling me about the items she use to use when she was young. It seamed as though back then everything had a purpose. Unlike today people invent ways for one item to be used in so many ways to make life easier i suppose. I guess it does save a lot of space and time while your in your kitchen.
Here are some of the finds that i made when i went to AAA Antique Mall.

This bag which i will be using this summer, it does not carry a lot, but back then you didn't carry everything you owned in a huge bag like we do now. Less is more!
This bow necklace was a great find, i love bows and the costume jewelry back then was smashing.
Nothing says Retro like the Kit Cat Clocks. This was a gift from my mother to Bruce for Christmas. We have it up in our kitchen. The original ones that were made in the 30's, 40's and 50's had only two paws and plugged in. Later on they added four paws, and the bow tie to it, and of course battery operated.

Well that's all i have for now, check in for more fun items i find, and tips on being a retro girl.

Sincerely
Whitney K.
